FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
Can I open an account today?+
No. Frenz Pay is still in development. No account has been issued and no money has moved through the product. You can join the early access list and we will write to you the day that changes.
So what is this site?+
A description of what is being built and an honest status page for it. An earlier version of this site advertised live accounts, settlement times and mobile apps that did not exist. That has been removed.
When will it open?+
We are not putting a date on it. Opening depends on partner integrations and approvals that are not entirely ours to schedule, and a date we miss is worse than no date. The status list on the home page is kept current.
What will it cost?+
The schedule is not set, because it depends on partner terms still being agreed. Rather than invent numbers, we have written down how the pricing will behave on the pricing page, and it will be published in full before the first account opens.
Who is it for?+
People in Africa who are paid from outside it — freelancers with overseas clients, remote staff on foreign payroll, and creators earning from platforms that pay to US accounts.
Will I need to verify my identity?+
Yes. Receiving international payments through regulated partners requires a real identity check, and there is no version of this product without one. It is a one-time check, done in the app.
Is there a mobile app?+
Not yet, and there are no store listings. If you see a Frenz Pay app anywhere today, it is not ours.
What happens to my email address?+
It is used to tell you when accounts open, and nothing else. It is not sold, and there is no newsletter attached to it.
